I had called in to yet another public consultation on the active travel plans in the town, and also the proposed new Greenway. All very interesting, and surprisingly logical.

I wonder will I live long enough to see even a fraction of it all completed

Clear sky with a frost here this morning.
I just heard that an Art Deco fire station is going to be knocked down in Bath. The reason being that modern fire engines are too wide to fit in it. I think that is a feeble excuse! Our narrow streets haven't suddenly got wider!

After watching the celebrity Traitors programme I learnt just how out of touch from reality a lot of them are. We often see them on their programmes which are carefully edited and scripted that we don't see what they are really like. The only player who went up in my estimation was the rugby player.

I woke at stupid o'clock this morning so with the morning teapot already emptied I'm hovering between back to bed before coffee or back to bed after coffee.

They "play fight" for want of a better description, it's just as well because they are over 28 inches to the shoulder, weigh 30 to 40 kgs and are bread to hunt and bring down wild boar which are common in this part of France. l hasten to add that l don't use my two for that activity !!

Good morning from Suffolk where it's been a lovely sunny start to the day. Just trying to ignore how cold it is though.

Coffee has been had and a start made on the rail ticket purchases for the first of the away days next year.
