It's happened again - I've spent a ridiculous amount of time comparing route options and costs for a couple of rail trips in February.
With the first (Felixstowe-Lincoln) it turned out quicker and cheaper to take the longest route with the most changes (via Norwich & Newark Northgate) than a shorter, similar route but more hanging around. The most obvious direct route was the longest and most expensive.
For Lincoln-Harrogate the next day I've ended up with three separate tickets all to save £2 on the Trainline price which already includes split ticketing!
This is the sort of thing that passes for entertainment on long dark winter evenings

let us know afterwards if you think next time will be different

Morning.
Frosty with bright sunshine and clear sky here.
I found that I have been huffing and puffing on the past couple of rides. At first I thought it was down to riding into a headwind but yesterday I found that I was struggling to keep up with the rest of the group. I'm wondering if it is the effect of the hormone injection I had on Monday. I'm on Prostap.
