First working day of the week completed. I was very lucky to complete the morning perambulation in the dry as there were some horrible showers later. Thankfully it has now dried up.

Good day at work as my boss didn't appear to have anything to moan about for once!

When I was in Westport in October, on a whim, I had pocketed a handful of acorns when walking through the gardens at Westport House. I planted them in pots when I got back. One is now sprouting at long last, (I had given up hope to be honest), so I have a new baby oak tree. :becool:

There's every type of tree imaginable around the farm at home, except oak. If these grow successfully in pots, I will plant them at some point. Not that I'll ever live long enough to see it fully grown.

With a bit of luck they can use it for your coffin, in around a 100 years time.
