Just couldn't resist taking this photo at roughly mid day today. The sun is low on the horizon and so powerful that it has cast the courtyard into shadow. l still haven't figured out how to post images the right way up but you get the picture l guess!

been out for a walk,i had to.So Aldi first for some grapes to go with my brekkie cereal,one bottle of stout which my sister in law said i should try,then a latte in my favourite cafe Marcel's.Where two ladies who i had seen earlier testing the zebra crossings the beep beep sounds.they came in to the cafe and asked for a quiet place to talk about their findings.i said don't worry about me,i will listen to my christian rock music.You don't say that often to people.So i sat there tappin my feet whilst they talked about crossings,what i did tell them was that i could lip read.

Morning.
It's getting lighter here. There is a band of beige on the horizon with some purple horizontal streaks above it. Both of our cars are damp but it looks like a lot of the puddles have dried up.
I'm not sure how I am this morning. I'm not sure if I have a bug or not, I am sneezing quite a bit.

when filling the bird feeder yesterday the little zip-tie fell off the string that keeps the roof on. the howling wind last night blew it off & it was dangling this morning. 6F this morning but I did refill it & secured the string w/ a new zip-tie

Another day of no post from postie. Watched him this morning and like Wednesday it was parcels only. Better be a letter delivery tomorrow

From Leeds where, after a sunny train ride up, the weather has turned decidedly Yorkshire. Never mind tomorrow, I may need the spare trousers this evening.

Lunch and drinks have been had, hotel booked into and, after a coffee and a shower, I'm hoping there's time for a short nap before heading off to The Brudenell.

Earlier today, I noticed that I'd missed my left thumbnail when trimming my nails yesterday evening..

Skipton has been voted the happiest place to live in 2025. It's alway a nice place to visit , has a great fish and chip shop. Plus a walk along the canal is not complete without saying hello to the statue of the great Frederick Sewards Trueman.

This afternoon I had a CT scan at the hopsital. Numerous attempts were made to get the canula fitted. I lost count after about ten. Very messy! Will I start leaking?

It is raining outside.
Georgie looks quite comfy sleeping in my chair, he is curled round sleeping on his back with both front legs pointing forwards. Cats seem to like viewing the world upside down!
He's just woken up.
