I have an appointment tomorrow for more tests. It seems that everytime I go through more scans/tests they decide I need more tests.

The same happen with me it was mostly to rule out things that the last test showed as possible issues. I know it's not easy but try not think too much about them remember the more they know. The better they can treat you , treatment plans are very personal and trailer made just for you.

A sunny and almost spring-like day here chez Casa Reynard after a rather frosty start. Though now it's gone cold again.

Slept well, although I had another episode of dozing off in front of my laptop last night, and waking up in the wee hours. At least all I need to do is turn the laptop off, turn the light off and roll over in bed. Didn't meet my friend for a dog walk today, so treated myself to an extra half an hour or so.

Although I had to scud through the chores quickly on account of having to take the parental to the quack for a routine check up at lunchtime. That took longer than intended because everything was running late, and we didn't get back till well after 3pm.

So a very late luncheon of crusty bloomer, the last of the gravlax, some ossau-iraty cheese, a pear, an orange and a :cuppa:

Topped up the wood bins in the house to the point of overflowing, as I'm off down to Winchester tomorrow. Also cut some greenery from the garden (bay and ivy) for my bouquet, which I will tie later. Card has been printed (I found a fudgy work-around) and poem has been finally pretzelled into submission.

A quiet evening is planned - I am looking forward to a nice hot bath later. I will use the last of the waterproof dressings the nurse at the surgery gave me. The glue on that is good for a 15 minute soak, after which the soap starts to react with the adhesive and loosen it. Never mind, it's the last time I'll be needing that, as I've only got a scab the size of a pea left now.

Also plan on listening to the football, although looks like no one is carrying the Arsenal v Kairat game.

I spotted them on a Instagram post a while back and challenged my daughter to find some in time for one of my Christmas presents this year.

So far only tried the crunchy caramel ones but I do have three other variants awaiting my attention

Tesco Ely have had them in for a couple of years now, as have Waitrose. And B&M have them in occasionally as well.

Thank you, yes, I try to stay positive about all these tests.

Just realised it's 6 months and two days since I've been living on the boat full time. Its bl**dy fabulous.

is it a house-boat like what Tom Hanks had in the movie Sleepless in Seattle?

It is technically a "floating home"—meaning it is permanently moored on a log float and does not have motors—not a traditional boat that moves.

Look on them(The tests/scans) as them trying to find something, that they're not finding. So, each test/scan is done to rule something else out.
Multiple repeat tests/scans aren't always trying to find something wrong. Often it's to rule things out.

I think my daughter found them in Sainsburys
Even freefrom Tim Tams are pretty widely available. Only 'original' variety it seems.

Not seen free from versions

I'm just beginning at this game. MRI and CT scans this lunchtime and an impending biopsy procedure though the date has not yet been fixed. I'm really not very good at this hospital business but I'm trying to cooperate.

I think i have had more visits to the doctors and hospitals in the last 18 months than the previous 60 years
