I thought it was only 48 hours as a recommendation?

Every specialist, nurse and doctor I have seen has always said minimum of 10 - 14 no cycling

As long as I breathe, I attack.
Best of luck to all of you, and don't neglect your own health at this time.

Take care.

thanks !
Got the week off now to keep on top of things so for me its a lot of waiting around along with too and fro to the hospital , hopefully she will be let out today .
We have the home buyer survey being done on our house today so that another thing to slot in

I've not even heard no cycling but looked online just now. All I get is 48hrs recommendations.

The very first PSA test I had about 10 years ago I wasn't aware as it was booked for me by a receptionist and when I turned up for my results the doctor I saw asked me had I cycled in the 2 weeks prior to the test I said yes he gave me a right telling off about wasting NHS money and time and everyone since has said same

@biggs682 I had a PSA test done (within a general blood test) recently, and no mention was made re cycling/heavy exercise etc.
I have to pop into Daktari this afternoon so I can ask.
Maybe 10 years ago it was a different test? 🤔

When my impending test and the next one in 3 months time were booked by the Kettering hospital specialist he again emphasized the zero cycling before hand to me so still getting told same

Good morning from Suffolk where it's been a sunny start to the day, but with high cloud now starting to block it. Coffee has been had and the overnight bag placed by the front door ready for today's outing. In an hour's time I leave to start the journey to Newcastle (via Leeds saving a few £££) to see Mogwai at The Glasshouse.

Had a lovely day yesterday 1st a late morning visit to the science museum. Only been with school before but we only got to go in the kids bit. So never got to look around the rest. Then the evening spent round at the brother out law and his partners new house.

Back home today so having a steady morning before getting the tube to the station. We’ve plenty of time as we don’t need to be out till 11.
Thank you for this - I have a few hours in London in March and I've not been to the Science Museum for many years so this may be something to do.

Ar5e - they've cancelled the Ipswich bound train due to 'a supermarket trolley on the line'!
Now on the bus to Ipswich and will work out my opinions from there as I'll have missed the connection for Peterborough and everything after that.
