Didn't do any more gardening after the rest this afternoon as all that's left to do is to cut back the fuchsias, but they've not properly started budding out yet, so that can wait. Instead I went out on the bike for a 10 mile loop into Felixstowe to top up the reserves of orange & mango squash from Tesco. Having been mostly shaded from the wind, I didn't realise how cold it was nearer the coast despite the sun.

Nothing else done since then and it's almost time for the evening's hot chocolate. Shouldn't run low again for a while having had a delivery today...

Got outbid on another potential cake day present to self on the 'bay again.

Annoying, but hey ho. Trouble is, with the price of gold and silver having gone through the roof, it's really distorted the prices of ordinary watches. Ergo a lot of sellers are taking the wee wee. Most stuff is overpriced garbage - and not worth buying. So when something decent at an acceptable start price pops up, it then turns into a bun fight.

I'm not playing that game. I bid how much I'm prepared to pay, and if it goes higher than that, then so be it.
