Late start to a ride for me

A funny bit about bikes with their visible brand names.
I think it was last year that I decided to cycle over to see my brother. As I was cycling along I saw an old chap on a smart looking bike coming towards me. I went passed each other I glanced at his bike. It was purple and red with chrome lugs, really smart looking. The name on the down tube said Holdsworth! It was my brother! I slammed on my brakes.

Lots of birds flitting around in the garden this morning. Goldfinches on the feeder along with a couple of Bluetits.
Two male Blackbirds posturing at each other on who owns the territory around the swing-seat.
Bluetits cheking out the bird-boxes.
A solitary Sparrow on the ground pecking on the sunflower hearts that the finches have dropped.

Busy busy!

Plenty about too down here on my morning walk round Kensington gardens and on though to Hyde park. Enjoy exploring round here I see lots of stuff many miss.

Also this morning spotted another Waymo car. Seen a few the last few days one close up. Still have a driver as they are testing them but it’s clear to see it the car that’s driving its self. Looks like something out of Captain Scarlett and the mistorons.

I'm off on a ride shortly, but will be riding past the World Coal Carrying Championships which are happening nearby today. I'm not taking part.

Well 90 minutes on the bike was lovely would have loved longer but busy family day ahead.
First cuppa brewing.
A lot of blue sky but it has a chilly edge to it.

Good morning from a warmish (compared to recent days) & hazily sunny Suffolk. Coffee has been had after an odd night's sleep - went to bed feeling cold and woke up overheating. The wheelie bin has been emptied and needs to be retrieved.

Little bit of faffing around to be done this morning and then a couple of hours out in the fresh air avoiding the football crowd heading to the home match in Ipswich.
