Last night after successfully testing my electric motor I thought it would help if I cleaned up the wheels by using an electric powered brass wire wheel. The wheels cleaned up nicely so I thought I would see what effect it had. It stopped working! I must have dislodged something. I'll have another look.
Fibreglass brush for cleaning.
A wire from the brush you used may have got into the space between the rotor and casing.

It's been a mixed bag of weather here chez Casa Reynard, although we largely escaped the rain here.

Slept well enough, but again, short changed by two and a half hours. Took a :cuppa: upstairs and sat in bed with the laptop working on the writing. Occasionally, Madam Boo came in the check up on me.

At a better hour, swapped night wear for day wear and cleared the chores. Then spent some time strimmering in the garden as it wasn't raining. I've done another good chunk of grass cutting.

Had a lovely luncheon of two slices of toast, one with avocado, the other with tuna & sweetcorn, a blueberry yoghurt and a pot of tea.

It got awfully dark at times, but bar a few spits and spots, that was as much as it amounted to. Didn't want to take any chances, so spent the rest of the afternoon writing too. I also finished the book I was reading - the last in the Lost Fleet series, and started a new book. Am now reading "A Thousand Splendid Suns" by Khaled Hosseini.

A good supper of home made cornish pasties, mashed potato and braised red cabbage.

A quiet evening is planned.
