The Chrysler Ypsilon I picked up cheaply has lots of 'sounds'; rattling and loose exhaust (new clamps and re-pasting up needed), clunks (suspension bushes and/or engine mounts) plus an unpleasant oil smell (gearbox probably).
Otherwise it's perfectly fine
yeah, it's a new sound. subtle, but it's there. the mechanic didn't hear it
but advised me to get a new car

We went to our museum tongue Crafty Cafe. I had intended to do some tracing for a picture that I am doing for a display. My wife was in a bit of a rush and when I set down to do some drawing I discovered that I had left my sketch pad which had my drawings in at home. Bu99er!
I tried using Google to find some pictures which I could use and it was bl**dy useless! I will just have to do the work tomorrow.
Some good news. The Yardbirds cd that I ordered arrived this afternoon. I played it in the car. I can remember some of the songs from the 60's.

Evening Toolstation / Tesco trek for wood glue and bananas respectively. A bit of wood fell off one of the outdoor chairs when I teak oiling them on Saturday and it took until 1550 yesterday to work out where it had come from. Only then to fail to discover any wood glue.
