Another hour out on the bike this afternoon battling with the very stiff and cold north easterly breeze. I'm going to plan Thursday's ride to take advantage of a tailwind and spend the last of the cash before pension payday on a train home.

Today's good deed was spotting a couple on bikes stopped by the side of the road and checking they weren't suffering from a mechanical problem or lost - turned out to be the latter so gave them directions back to the road to Felixstowe. As I was on the same loop but going in the opposite direction, when I reached the lane where they would be turning out of, I doubled back down it and saw them coming up so gave a wave and went back on my way.

Nothing done late afternoon & evening other than relaxing with some reading material and the radio.

A lovely sunny day here chez Casa Reynard, warm where sheltered from the very brisk easterly.

Slept well enough, but only managed just under six hours. Hey ho. Came downstairs, fed the cat, took a :cuppa: back upstairs and did some writing. But only a short session this morning, as I met up with my friend Linda for our weekly dog walk. I took her a portion of the salmon, plus a sudoku puzzle book and some cat food that Madam Boo is turning her nose up at. Linda has seven cats, so everything is usually eaten by someone.

Did all the chores when I got back, and then did an hour's strimming in the garden.

Lovely luncheon of a roast beef & gruyere sandwich, a raspberry yoghurt, a flapjack and a pot of tea.

Had a quiet afternoon writing and watching the snooker.

Supper was a bitsas. The last little bit of the risotto, plus a bowl of ramen.

Now listening to the football (such shocking refereeing decisions!) and keeping an eye on the snooker.
