Good morning from Suffolk where coffee has been had and the second rain shower of the day has just started.

Today will be a mostly indoors day of domestics, with a break taken to pop into town to pick up the new kettle. Rather unsurprisingly the old one behaved normally this morning.

Why don't companies use the information held on file to target their advertising emails more accurately? Despite having ordered from them in the past and being on file as 'Mr...', I've just had an email offering products to 'support my menopause"

In more relevant news, advance tickets go on sale for Fat Dog in Nottingham in 15 minutes.

Ticket secured, just got the hotel to sort out and then do it all again on Friday for another band. Still haven't decided between the Leicester or Southampton dates as the travel and hotel costs are roughly the same.

Quick trip into town to collect the ordered kettle - completely misjudged the gap between rain showers. Coffee and toast and then on with the domestics.

It's chilly and wet with a recent flash of lightning and a slow peal of thunder. It's not a day for going out. But another of my daily hospital visits is in a little while so there's no choice. I'll wear a woolly hat.

Never had this problem when GE made the bulbs.
it's not the bulbs it's wiring

switch off. these should not be glowing. they only go out when I unplug them from the switched outlet. it's not the outlet, cuz we didn't have the problem the day before the electricians showed up, & out next door neighbor has the same issue now, even tho she can't tell with her regular lamp that she has plugged in
glowing when switched off.jpg

went to our neighbor next door. same exact new issue, but only visible with my LED string lights. she also said that this morning the lamp post next the parking lot stairs, the one that the wiring work was done for, was glowing dimly, even tho it was turned off

will be testing at least 1 more neighbor in our building ...
