Cycling has been cycled. Several Kms along a very nice canal path. Sundry rain showers.
Met a man with horse, waiting to tow a barge full of touroids
I have missed cycling. Hopefully next week will be more normal.
Morning.
It is grey here.
We had a quick walk around Sutton Hoo last night. There are a lot of trees around which I wasn't expecting. It is a bit like the New Forrest, totally different from the impression I got from watching previous films about the site. The site must be up on a hill which you don't realise until you see the valley in which they must have dragged the ship up from the river below. They think that the site for the burial was cleared and a pit was dug for the boat which was lowered into position. Not liked what I imagined with "Right Said Fred" and his crew just dragging it up and piling sand over it! Sailing the boat out to sea and setting light to it would have been a lot simpler!
Busy morning in the garden.. Two doves feeding off the ground with a sparrow hopping around them looking for a snack, lots of goldfinches pigging out on sunflower hearts on the feeder and the inevitable pigeons waddling around and pointlessly chasing each other.
