Back to Le Mans on the TV - and Sam Bird on comms.

Pretty decent race so far. All green running save for one short FCY.

A very enjoyable day out at Silverstone today. Minis doing Mini things in packs, 2CVs droning round, Formula Fords still being the best single seat racing. Could have done without the cold north westerly, especially in the shade created by the grandstands .Nice and early finish meant I was home well before 8pm and I have been listening to Radio Le Mans synced up to the TV coverage for most of the evening.

Pleasing moment at the fuel station when I managed to stop the pump dead on £50.00.

Had a ride out to watch the Yorkshire crit championships at Wyke, near Bradford, on the circuit there.

The women's race was won by the highest ranked rider, who then did the open/men's race as well.

The men's/open race had the two favourites constantly chasing each other down, with one getting 6th and the other was a DNF. It was won by a Junior rider who chose the right break group.

Spoke too soon. About half an hour behind the SC to clear up a GT3 mess. Still, looks like a pretty good race. Really enjoying it.

Did the chores. Other than that, am having a quiet and snacky (toast) day following the Le Mans coverage and assorted other sports. Annoyingly, the *good* live timing from Le Mans has vanished behind a paywall.

The old bread, which is on the verge of developing language skills, is almost eaten.
