no fingers or pets were harmed & no alcohol was involved, thanks to a long duration gout flareup

I was forbidden alcohol entirely, due to gout, except about a glass of wine during mass. (I assist)
I always loved my vino. In college, I was the oddball who brought the straw-wrapped Chianti to the party, (as well as my special recipe fried mushrooms.).

A late check in after a very good day. Two bouts of very loud shouty music with a wall of guitars, bass & drums sandwiching something much more mellow. Both really enjoyable in their own way.

Mostly caught up with events of the day and a hot chocolate has been had. Don't plan on watching the football in the early hours as I have a fairly early train home on Monday morning. One final beer may be had before bedtime.
