Slept well, but somewhat shortchanged. Not helped by dozing off in front of the sumo last night. So downstairs, fed the cat, made a
and took it back upstairs to do some writing. Had a pretty decent session editing some new stuff that wasn't well put together.
Did the chores at a better hour. Also spent some time troubleshooting yesterday's p*ncture fairy visitation. I didn't ride over anything sharp, and it wasn't a pinch puncture. The tube held pressure. Until I wiggled the valve. Then *pssssssssssssssssssssssss*
I do have two spare tubes, but for the life of me, I can't find my tyre levers...
Had a lovely luncheon of toast with anchovies and bean dip (one slice with each), a banana and a mug of herbal tea. The latter on account of my milk having gone over.
Spent the afternoon doing paperwork and paying a few bills. That didn't go smoothly on account of my card reader deciding it wasn't going to work because the battery tray was stuck. That wasn't me - it came that way. And was fine until the batteries ran out. So had to take the thing apart to get to the battery compartment. Thank goodness for my jewellers screwdrivers. Batteries replaced and things all back up and running again.
Also popped out to Aldi to get some fresh milk. Also picked up raspberries and avocados on sticker.
Used the old sour milk and some chapati flour that was lurking in the back of the cupboard to make a loaf of Irish soda bread. Supper was just fresh bread & butter, the bean dip and a nice proper
