It's been a pleasantly warm day here chez Casa Reynard, sunny post-luncheon after a cloudy start.

Did not sleep terribly well as very stiff after yesterday. Kept waking up as I couldn't get comfortable. Downstairs, fed the cat, made a :cuppa: and took it upstairs to do a bit of writing.

Then I put some presentable clothes on and met up with my friend Linda for a dog walk. The doggos were so happy to see me as it's been too hot for daytime walkies of late. It was lovely to have a nice bimble in good company and ease the stiffness - if you could hear squeaking between midday and one, then that were my joints!

Stopped off at the book exchange. Picked out a few interesting bits including a book on foraging, and an Isaac Asimov novel.

Had a lovely luncheon of toast, bean dip, a banana yoghurt and a small pot of tea.

I have done very little this afternoon. Most of that involved dozing in the sun while listening to the cricket. Southern Brave are "my" team in the Hundred as there's no franchise here in the East.

Yesterday was good. Delayed somewhat on the way down to Alresford due to a three car pile-up on the M3 near Farnborough, but a clean run home later in the evening. Laid flowers on Paul's grave. Scary that it's been thirty five years. Also met up with my friend Simon, and we had a nice picnic luncheon and a good catch up.

Now sat watching the cricket and thinking about supper.
