It's been a pleasantly clement and occasionally sunny day here chez Casa Reynard, with a bit of an awkward breeze.
Sleep was so-so. Took me ages to drop off, and then I overslept. Was woken up by a cat sat on the bed wondering where her breakfast was. So downstairs, fed the cat, made a
and took it upstairs to do some writing. A mix of work today, some of it on the novel, the rest on the orchard project.
Writing done, then it was time to tackle the chores and put the non-fridgeable shopping away. After, loaded the crockpot with various bits for tonight's supper.
Had a lovely luncheon of wholegrain seeded baguette with home made kipper pate, greek yoghurt with a banana and blueberries, and a small pot of tea.
After, bagged up the two baguettes so that they don't go stale, divided up the black pudding and consigned it to the freezer, and did some paperwork that needed to be completed by today and sent off, and watered the tomatoes.
Decided to treat myself to a bicycular bimble as a reward. Spent a lovely hour and twenty minutes in the company of Rocky the Hardtail, riding out to the Hundred Foot, and then along the bridleway to Oxlode, and home via Pymoor.
I'm now enjoying a relaxed evening, and all I need to do in a bit is cook some pasta, and then wash up after I've eaten.

Just went to draw the curtains in the dining room, and there were two rabbits grazing on the lawn. One of them the standard agouti that you see in wild rabbits, the other was melanistic i.e. black.
