It's been a warm, humid and blustery day here chez Casa Reynard, with the odd rain shower squeezed in.
Did not sleep well on account of a sinus flare-up. The side of my face feels like it's been kicked by a horse, although painkillers are keeping the edge off. I think I've shifted the blockage, but we'll see.
Went downstairs, fed the cat, made myself a

and took it upstairs to do some writing. I'm having fun putting together a new venue - the house of one of my main characters. I had thought "modern converted barn" but the more I add detail, the more it's morphing into grey stone farmhouse with flagstone floors and an aga in the kitchen.
Did the chores at a better hour, and then had an early luncheon of avocado on toast and a small pot of tea.
After, took myself off into town. Found a nice quiet spot to leave the car where I didn't need to clock watch, and then walked down to the river to have a mooch around the antiques centre. Fancied ogling the watches and bling, although there wasn't really anything that captured my attention. Although there was a very nice man's Universal Geneve "Polerouter" in one cabinet.
After, popped to Tesco for milk, butter, onions and eggs. And some petrol for Colin. Picked up some nice bread and rolls on YS.
Have had a quiet evening watching the snooker and listening to Villa v Arsenal.
Supper was pasta with tomatoes, basil and ricotta.
I now need to wash up.
