It's been a gloriously warm and sunny day here chez Casa Reynard.
Slept really well, and that includes the nap I had while watching the sumo. Downstairs, fed the cat, made myself a
and took it upstairs to do some writing. I have decided that one of my characters has a race car called Henry. Now I need to establish exactly what kind of car Henry actually is.
Downstairs at a better hour to do the chores. Moved all the bits back into the kitchen fridge, picked a load of tomatoes (this'll be the last really big pick), and prepared and cooked the fruit for a batch of apple & passionfruit jelly.
Had a lovely luncheon of two slices of toast, one with Polish sausage (Boo approved!) and the other with Montagnolo cheese. Plus a banana and a small pot of tea.
Spent the afternoon in the garden giving some of the grass a haircut. The rain we've had has really rejuvenated everything. after, as a treat, I hopped on Rocky the Hardtail and went walnutting. Not overly successful as it's still a little too early, but it got me out and on a bike for a little bit, and I feel all the better for it.
