First cuppa went down well earlier.
Back home now and soon be time for a second cuppa.
Journey home was good apart from all the youngsters being dropped off at school en route.

Good morning. The current plan is to take the train to work, cycle home on the bike that lives there, then cycle into work again tomorrow, to take advantage of the wind direction today and tomorrow.

Before anyone leaps to their keyboard (@classic33 I'm looking at you) let me make it clear I'm referring to meteorological conditions, not biological.

What colour is the bin?

Grey.

Grey bin with blue lid = metal, glass & plastics
Grey bin with grey lid = non recyclables
Black bin with green lid = paper & cardboard.

Others in use round here are green bin with green lid for garden waste (which I don't have as it's an extra £60ish/year) & grey caddy with grey lid for food waste (mine's in use as a clothes peg holder with the lid removed as I don't have food waste).

Good morning from Suffolk where it's been a mostly grey skied start to the day. Coffee has been had and the washing machine is doing its thing again.

At the moment the only thing I plan on doing today is to put the panniers onto the ebike and head out shopping for enough food & drink to last through the weekend. Rain has been forecast for later today, so I'll wait until it arrives or doesn't before deciding what to do or not for the afternoon.

While we in Antipodean Upover are having an autumn equinox today.

I've cut the labels out of my new underpants as they were itching the base of my spine.. 👍

There does seem to be an excess of labels these days - the jacket I bought at Decathlon last week had over half a dozen care/fabric construction labels on the side and another size one at the neck. Possibly due to the amount of countries that Decathlon sell in, but all have been removed.

We've had someone round this morning to quote for replacing fence panels all over the garden. Higher and kitten-climb proof.

Somehow Greta the destroyer kitten has managed to demolish a large chunk of a 5 foot fence panel by running up and down it!
