So much for that as the train from Nottingham has been cancelled which means a 2 hour delay thanks to the infrequent connection at Peterborough or Ely.

A horribly wet forecast for the day but it was dry first thing which allowed me to ride down the gym at 8:30 in the near dark but dry. Got pretty wet on the way home but that’s not such an issue. I’m now enjoying a second cup of decaff coffee looking out at the gloom happy that I don’t have to go out there again today. I’m also poised to hopefully buy some TdF team presentation tickets when they go on sale at midday today, fingers crossed !
