Lovely luncheon of a chunk of melton mowbray pork pie, then two slices of wholemeal toast, one with the last of the fig & cider ham, one with cheddar & chutney, plus an apple, a pear and a clementine. And two of course.

Neither did I but I did get 2 bottles of champagne from Mr Cookiemonster.

That does make up for it.😂

Lost on me, I'm teetotal...

The cats got kitty-safe catnip chocolates from their Auntie Irene.

We got too much, and too many packs of fancy biscuits, we gave some of it away but we've still got three packs of biscuits left plus a big tin of sweets.

Why give* it away? Most of these things have close to a year to run on the date, so they won't develop language skills for a good while yet. I always stock up on nice biskits over Crimble, and then I don't buy much throughout the rest of the year.

* except the sweets. Other than the odd mint or two, I don't really eat sweets. If I've been given sweets, or things like Quality Street which I don't like, they usually end up in cat show specials.

I've been learning to drive Windows 11. Not sure what it really does better than Windows 8.1 for my needs.

Drop them off at a local food bank. They will find a use for them.

I received several gifts of chocolate for
Christmas Myself and Mrsp rarely eat chocolate Most of it has been given to the local food bank.

Ooh, possibly my favourite with strong english mustard. Sounds bad but i can hoover a family size one down in the blink of an eye.

I picked up a pair of Bontrager wheels for my bike and an aluminium fork . The stem of the fork is a little bit short but fits. I'll have to try it out when the weather dries out .

The one I got is a giant one that Tesco do for Christmas. I prefer to make a good pork pie last and enjoy it a slice at a time.

We recycled some of the chocolates as last moment Xmas presents.
