First pre lunchtime walk completed this week

Very fine luncheon of a seafood stick sandwich, an apple, a pear and two

Now tootling off into the garden to do stuff.

The sunshine and bits of blue sky have now been replaced by grey sky . I rang up a friend who was up for a ride. I did just over 16 miles . We were both getting a bit weary by the end of the ride . The wind had picked up . Not sure if that was the reason but we both found one section a right drag.

warmer today. too bad it's not sunny. planning a ride after work. it won't be long before I no longer need lights, for rides after work

Ooh! My legs are aching !
Well! My parcel has arrived ! It's a good job I didn't pay too much for what I won . 2 1/18 models in bits and needing some work . A bit of a jigsaw puzzle . One model is a Quartzo Lotus 49 missing a wheel . The other is an Onyx Williams missing two rear wheels, front wing and perhaps a driver. What the seller carefully hid from the photos was the mess of the paintwork on several bits .
The bits were just placed into two bags within a cardboard box !
Positive feedback ! They will be lucky !

Mr and Mrs Postman are waiting for the fog to lift.Yes fog.Then a ride over to Harlow Carr Gardens Harrogate,a tootle in the mist no doubt then lunch in Bettys.How posh and romantic is that.I am just going to renail me old clogs got to look smart for Bettys,I might even get me best muffler and cap out.Or better still have a word with Accy about what is acceptable for a Gentleman having lunch in Bettys.

Locally the missing big store, Tesco, has gained permission again. Previously they had permission but did not build it so maybe this time around. Until it happens the HG postcode remains unique in not having a big Tesco store in it.

Must have taken some palm oil to get that through

A lovely Pizza lunch. Granddaughter asked to come back with us for a sleepover and she was really excited when we caught the open topped bus and sat upstairs in the open air.

Can you take your whippet in with you?

Funny you should ask that.There was a question on the Gardens web page asking were dogs allowed in.The reply was no only guide dogs,the person asking was not happy at all.I dont want to see dog sheet or black bags hanging from branches thank you.

Nothing much done today. My gastric reflux has flared up so feeling a bit down.
Mind you I did provoke it a bit recently be eating some stuff I really should avoid Unfortunately mostly things I like such as cheese, large cups of real coffee rather than instant and soup made with onion are only a few.
This is something I have had before so hopefully it will settle down soon.
