Walked to Lidl to get some shopping. Glorious sunny morning, people wearing shorts and T shirts, and a couple of convertibles with the top down making the most of the sunshine ☀️

Same time today I was parked outside Aldi in Oban and staying in the car as rain was lashing down.

Had to endure an anti-cycling rant from my 77 year old aunt who was ten minutes late meeting a friend for coffee because she got held up by a group of cyclists.

There really is no hope. You'd think at her age she'd have worked out to leave sufficient time for her journey.

What a lovely and sunny day it turned out to be here in Suffolkshire, even if it was somewhat chilly in the stiff breeze. I did a somewhat extended shopping & bottlebank run this afternoon taking in Felixstowe seafront - the amount of people and traffic was almost summer like with even the pay & display carparks being quite full and no on-street spaces visible by just after midday. The traders on the prom and any cafe/bar nearby were doing a roaring trade.
