A steady hand and a good eye is needed when black glossing door frames up to white emulsioned walls.So why did i get the task.One eye gone one eye slightly blurred and hands today are cramping up from holding paint brushes.But this old fart did a good job.Four skirting boards and two door frames but the frames are humungous this building is 140 years old.So two or three more morning and all will be finished.Not sure what happens next,i know there are two more areas off the corridor that need painting,big job i might need some help.
Yorkshire people are so generous,they even share colds.I cant shift mine coughing so bad Mrs P slept in the front bedroom last night.

Checked my car battery on Wed and this afternoon. I drove last Saturday and checked voltage Sunday morning. The Sunday morning voltage was higher than Wed and today. But I’ve read something about rested voltage and waiting 24 hrs after driving (or charging) I hadn’t. The voltage Wed and today are the same and looks like it’s the rested voltage and above 12V. Seems the solar panel trickle charger is working and maintaining charge. Car will now only go places with a purpose more than just keeping battery charged. Should get money back on cost of Solar charger within a few months 👍

I did run out of time to do my gardening jeans as I had to put the woollens through a second spin cycle to avoid leaving a trail of drips behind me.
Finished filing the last batch of those newspaper articles I downloaded last weekend. They are now all grouped by year in dedicated directories, which makes it a much less daunting task going forward. I've updated various spreadsheets and word documents with the new information that I've garnered this past week, and also cross-checked some programmes that have come up for sale to see whether I should buy them or not. I have a spreadsheet for that too, as it's impossible to keep it all straight in my head.
