They were discussing whether the James Bond books should be rewritten on Good Morning Britain just now . I was wondering ! If they did a similar thing to Lady Chatterley's Lover would it end up just being a book on gardening ?

It would spoil the story, ^_^ I've got an illustrated copy of Lady Chatterley's Lover in my bedside cabinet.

I would like to share something with you all !

COVID !

Seriously ! My wife has now tested positive . Just like my test it went straight to positive ! Looking at the time between me showing symptoms and testing positive it would seem that I caught it at the Men's Shed . I think a couple of members have also gone down with it .

We haven't got any tests left now ! But, it's a case of if feeling unwell, don't go spreading it at work.

We are in quarantine now. I think mine started as a bit of a cough which I put down to having a cough whilst eating some grapes . It made my throat sore which I blamed on the coughing . It was the coughing in the night which made us twig to the thought that it could be the virus .

Another bright sunny day with no wind.
The holiday house has types who put out all the wheely bins to cause as much blockage to residents as possible as only one will be emptied and the 3 of them will just be left there anyway until one of us gets fed up and chucks them back in their gateway.
What kind of people think it ok to behave like this anyway?
Touroid of course.

A whole day off, still using up leave from last year to avoid using it. :wahhey:

Now that all the Kamikaze commuters' SUVs should be safely tucked up in their office car parks, I shall venture out for two-wheeled perambulation. :bicycle:

Lovely, crisp spring morning for it and good to get away from here as the people working on the downstairs flat are back to make more noise. One wonders what they're doing down there that has involved endless drilling and kangoing for several months now. It's a good job that building firm weren't tasked with building the Colosseum.

Good morning all from a cold but sunny Suffolkshire. First cuppa of the day has been drunk and, judging by the fact that it's not where I left it last night, the bin has been emptied and needs to be moved back to its rightful resting place.

As the car hasn't been used for over three weeks, I'm going to load a bike into the boot and give it a run up to Diss this morning, go for a ride around that part of south Norfolk for a couple of hours, pick up some shopping and then drive home and leave the car parked for another 10 days before it has to go in for its MOT & service.

Right, that's 2 loads of laundry done and I'm now at my mother's flat waiting for the relief manager of the building to turn up. The problem is that I have no idea when that might be.
