A bit cold on this morning's walk. -4C according to my phone.

I see the council have dug some more holes in the pavement and put diversions in place for pedestrians. Again.

I have been up our garden to look for footprints in the snow . Most of them were from Georgie scampering about. I came across one set of prints which looked strange . They were covered in a light sprinkling of snow so there wasn't any definition as to the shape of the foot . They were in single file . In a line , one foot behind the other in a line. The distance between each footprint was quite large.

Here are the footprints. 15inch spacing between each print.

Another bright sunny day with the only clouds to be seen probably over Ben Cruachan many miles away.
Still very cold at minus 1.6C when I got out of bed but no wind.
Nice day for going for a walk if I only could manage any meaningful distance.
Too cold for me on the trike and in any case the road could be dodgy with drivers blinded by the sun.
Very brief power cut last evening but no obvious reason.
We used to get a lot of these and the ones to be wary of were when the lights flickered for a while before going out. These signs usually meant a long outage. A quick and crisp off usually was fixed pretty quickly.
One power cut lasted 4 days and my van was stuck on the garage lift with apparently no way of getting it down again with no power.
In winter I always have a small torch in my pocket after dark.

Due to working spent the morning catching up on some house work. Running round the Dyson can wait till later I've a few other things I need to do. Lucky I rescued my foundation pen from my work shirt before it went in the washing machine. No snow but it's pretty bitter out and about still as cold as the early morning dog walk.
