Weather still grey, wet and depressing. I did my grocery shopping earlier, then tidied up a bit.

This afternoon, I walked over to a "record, CD and tape" fair which is on in the community centre.

The prices of vinyl nowadays, and people try to sell anything. Why would anyone want a tatty copy of Mario Lanza greatest hits?

We've got a few days away in Amsterdam coming towards the end of April. GWe have a visit to the Tulip Parade booked, but, of course, you've got to do Ann Frank's house. Checked a few weeks ago and bookings not yet open. Remembered this afternon, and logged on - oh the week we are going is now open - oh my, got a booking but not till 8pm on our second day. Tickets were nearly all sold out. We'll just go for food before, no rush. Still at the planning what to do but MrsF wants to visit Van Gogh Museum - wonder if that's pre-book ?

This amazes me as well: we sell loads of tatty vinyl records at work. One currently on display has "Pop" In lurid curly multicoloured writing on the front, Unfortunately the curly writing is very slightly obscured by the next record so it looks like it says "Poo".

Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
I've just reported a giant skip that's been placed on a main road since Thursday. All black, much wider than a car, with no warning lights. It's a lovely hazard for someone to crash into in the dark.

The irony of the police car in the background is not lost on me.

Ah, Van Gogh is pre bookings, righty, done, again spaces running out. So we arrive Thursday afternoon, so that will be a wander and food. Friday is more wandering and Anne Frank. Saturday up early for tulip parade and travel to it, Sunday Van Gogh. Got Monday and Tuesday morning to fill now. Boat trip will also need to be done !

I do have quite a lot of records, but I bought them when they could be bought for peanuts in charity shops.

Today, traders were asking €30 or €40 for classic rock albums. It just seems a bit excessive to me.

Been out again for 'the infected'. Sunday roast is ready to go, but MrsF said she's not hungry, but wouldn't mind some tinned fruit (blurgh) - so like a good 'en I've been out for tinned fruit, soup, spaghetti hoops etc. Simple food ! I think the tinned fruit idea is from her family as it's something her mum used to like, not so much the 'real stuff'.
I hope the infected are on the mend soon. Microwavable sponge puddings and custard were a huge hit with the recovering here when we all had covid. Currently waiting to see if the Mister has caught it a third time as he trained three times this week with someone who’s just come down with it.
I am reading a book on decluttering, triggered by catching myself thinking about needing to buy some more storage boxes. It may be time to let go of quite a lot of stuff.

My wife has a few books on de-cluttering - got loads of her mum's stuff here that needs working through and getting rid of, but it's a bit 'soon'.

I'm being a bit cautious - not been on bike since this week's commutes, but will be back commuting on Tuesday if I continue to avoid 'the lurgy'. Ice lollies are also popular with 'the infected'.
