Grey, mild and occasionally sunny here chez Casa Reynard. It rained overnight as everything is a bit soggy.
Slept well - the best in quite a few days. Can't remember if I dreamed or not. Did a load of laundry this morning, and then spent the rest of the time processing archive material.
Working on the archive has been a mix of eureka moments and frustration of late. One of the people I'm working with is a really lovely chap, but he has a totally different idea of what is or isn't useful. Yes, the articles are interesting, but what I'm *really* after are results sheets and monthly points charts. The eureka moment occurred when, thanks to the points charts, I managed to pin down a significant moment in the history of the ex-Howard Cole car.
This afternoon, one of the tasks on the agenda is to make a nice big pot of celeriac soup.
Anyways, it is almost time for luncheon.
