A bright sunny day but a brisk southerly wind.
We now have a beach replacement which gets washed away over the winter. A local lorry owner/driver gets a load of sand from Lochaline and delivers it to be spread out by a lot of volunteers.
We used to have lots of beach and water based activities in the summer mainly for local entertainment and participation. That section of community has now sadly gone and the settlers are more interested in making money from the touroid.

Morning .
It was nice and sunny with clear blue sky earlier but it is now clouding over. The is a bit of a frost about .
I was hoping to go for a ride this morning but a couple of my routes will be blocked due to flooding . I was hoping to take my Holdsworth out but I'm going to have to change it for a bike with mudguards.

Now, just before I left the buffet, a couple came in and sat down. The walk up buffet had already finished, but they will still serve you a 'buffet', only at your table, with freshly cooked food (arguably better than the standard buffet anyway).

So they sat, ordered drinks and food... And then left, without touching anything.

Cue confusion when the food arrived. I had assumed they had gone for a smoke or something, but no, one of the delivery drivers saw them drive away.

Why do that?! 🤷

I just saw a plane circling round in its approach to London City Airport. This tells me that there's an easterly wind blowing.
