Cannot say as though I have ever been, although I only live about a days' drive away. The Kon-Tiki Hawaiian themed room is referred to as "The Jungle Room" in lore regarding Elvis. Never that much of a fan, myself. Good Bar-be-que in Memphis, some good music, and a lot of bad music. Hope you enjoy The States. A tad warm this time of year.

Slept well though, and have had a quiet morning puttering about in the garden and then sorting out some paperwork for the parental unit. I've also peeled, cored and cut up a pineapple.
I will have to pop out this afternoon. I need fuel for the car and mower, I need to drop off the soft plastics as the bag is full, I need another bottle of tomato fertilizer and I need to acquire a new bedside lamp for the parental as hers has gone *fzzzzzzzt*
Today's watch du jour is an early 1970s Tissot Seastar.
It is almost time for luncheon.

Work looks to have a theme going on our hours have for sometime gone very hit and miss. We had our office taken off us last year. Today we've found out we've lost our store room all the stuff is now in the space under the stairs down the back corridor. Oh and we can no longer use the staff work space.

Car had an attempt at annoying me today
It didn't come on immediately after a restart and it transpired to be a detached manifold pipe. It first started after rat running down a not that brilliant a surface lane to avoid a collision which seemed to have far more police cars at it than was neccessary. Surely it couldn't have been shaken loose?
