More mini cool bag capacity testing this evening, normally its cool enough with the passing breeze not to worry over chilled for 25 mins. 2 2pts of milk, an extra large chunk of cheddar and two small quiches fitted okay.

That may well need its own thread, keep me posted. I've got an old cool bag that somehow acts like a freezer in the hottest of weathers, it defies the laws of thermodynamics, i kid ye not.

As mentioned this morning, my to do list had only 3 items on them - in the end I only managed 2/3rds of that!

The short shopping trip turned into a much longer one to get everything I wanted and a bit of countryside viewing because the weather was so good. Then the grass cutting took longer than anticipated as it was so long and there were frequent drink stops in the heat. The strawberry ice cream afterwards was lovely. Perhaps tomorrow will be hair cut time.

Also I failed to make the trip to Norwich as, by the time I'd had tea, done the washing up and had a sit down with a cuppa it was too late to make it worthwhile as I'd forgotten that Friday night gigs start & finish earlier so they can have a 'club' night afterward. The ticket was only a tenner so I've not lost much and at least I won't need to buy any diesel for Sunday's outing now.

The Bay of E photos didn't do it justice at all. One very happy Reynard. Just need to go and see my watchmaker and get the bracelet adjusted, as it's on its biggest setting. Might need a link taken out as it's rather loose on my teeny wrist.

One advantage of staying home this evening - I've just picked up a cheap but scruffy SRAM Apex 1 crankset on Ebay. It's in better condition that the bike it's going on to.

Boyracers still at it. There is actually a queue of Lexus IS 200 and Toyota Twin Cams at the junction out there, all revving pointlessly and trying to make as much noise and waste as much petrol as possible. Next year I definitely plan to be somewhere else for rally weekend. Don't they get bored driving around the same small routes?

I can't wait until this stupid rally is over on Sunday and all these people go back to wherever they came from and I can cycle again in peace.

I "printed off" the full Microsoft windows licence agreement before installing.
