Awh *HUGS*

Around 2 pouches a day split between two cats here, but the girls also have dry available 24/7 via a gravity-fed dispenser.

4 of ours have 3 pouches split between them in a morning and one each at night but after a while play 'swapsies' with each others bowls*, the latest addition is Winter who came from one of Maz's grandaughters who was forced to move from her house after the landlord decided to sell the house, Winter is a strange cat as she was known to vanish for up to a month and then wander back as if nothing had happened. She does not do that here but is very 'standoffish' and barely interacts with our 'pride', no hissing or anything she just ignores them, very much her own cat. Winter is fed seperately and won't touch most cat food but insists on 'Gourmet Gold' in little tins as all that is good enough for her, I suspect that when she used to 'vanish' she'd found a kindly soul who saw her in their garden and gave her Tuna or Chicken cos "She looked hungry" or maybe in an attempt to entice her to be their cat.

* They all have different 'flavours' of either AGAIL, Sheba or Whiskas so like to swap after about 2/3 of a bowl

Happy 4th of July to all of our American Mundaners 🦃

Thank You. And thank Great Britain for all it has done for us, a couple of contretemps excepted.

Cool and drizzly here chez Casa Reynard.

Slept well. Have been working on some writing this morning, but I've also watered my triffids, re-stocked the fruit bowls and rounded up the ingredients for tonight's supper.

The big news here is that this morning, Madam Lexi brought me a very large rat - the best part of a foot long from nose to tail.

Happy 4th of July to all of our correspondents from across the pond

It is almost time for luncheon.
