It's so wonderful to no longer need to drive to work.

I have to finish up coffee etc then go out & clean the snow off both cars & warm them up. then drive 25 miles on tires with legal but low tread over sketchy roads just to sit in front of a boring computer ALL DAY while the sales reps pat themselves on the back during their "meeting". hope that helps you enjoy your day even more! hehe

Recycling centre trip successfully completed this morning and I even managed to find an old kettle in the back of a cupboard that got added to the'small appliances' skip. As a treat to myself, I stopped off at Morrisons on the way home and picked up a pack of custard doughnuts.

Is it acceptible to have the remaining couple for breakfast tomorrow instead of porridge?

You mean they'll last that long?

That's my ONS blood and PCR tests out of the way for another month. The lancet I used needed so much pressure that it went deep inside my finger. Loads of free-flowing house red. Let's see whether my ''higher level'' antibodies will take me through another month.

Dry, bitterly cold and occasionally sunny here chez Casa Reynard. The overnight rain didn't come this far west.

Slept really well (and overslept) again. Have had a quiet morning just puttering around doing a few things that needed doing. I *will* need to do some firewood this afternoon, as the stock of cut logs in the garage is running low. There is a stash of cherry, bullace and willow that I dragged in last week that'll be ready for cutting up. Better wrap up warm.

Madam Poppy is asleep on the desk in the space under the stairs, and Madam Lexi is still enamoured of the cardboard box that my scanner came in.

It is almost time for luncheon.

Some heavy snow showers and since there is reduced traffic the road does not look very good. The main road out of town is blocked about 5 or 6 miles out of town with vehicles probably not able to get up a couple of steepish hills.
Decided to change tomorrow’s nurse appointment and got another slot on Thursday instead when according to the forecast the snow should have gone. If Tuesday is anything like this morning I would certainly not be able to keep the appointment so best to change it early.
