Yesterday I tripped up as I was climbing a fence. I fell backwards into a hawthorn hedge and banged my head.
Do you think my head hit -
A. A hawthorn itself
B. A wooden old farm gate post amongst the hawthorn hedge (there isn't another in a 100 yard stretch).
C. A metal part of gate furniture sticking out from the gate post

Answer C.

I now have a large lump on my head and a sore neck.

Following on from yesterdays flat earth lot today in town we got the God Botherer's. A lot tamer than the Sunday lot who often border on and at times openly commit hate crime.

My car now has a brand new battery fitted (by me). I didn't think that £57 was too bad. Reduced from £164.99 apparently...

Miserable day with the weather but no boat cancellations so cannot have been as windy as forecast.
This is with our "new" boat MV Loch Frisa, a tiny little thing compared to our usual but seems to have confounded the critics
[ and I was one ] who were a bit sceptical about her sea going capabilities. Not having so much top hamper means she can get alongside the piers more readily and while she rolls badly in a cross sea does seem to cope ok. Not a boat to be on if you are prone to sea sickness.
Got out to the chemist and had a chat with a cycle club member from long ago. Too cold and windy with light rain to hang around outside tho'.

Managed the leave the found "lost" jumper in the office today so having used the🚗 there was the perfect reason for a🚲 to retrieve it. Just 3.37 miles but with 341ft of elevation entertaining the ebike.
