I'm sure members will be interested to know that I've done one load of washing, and am now starting another.

I've just steam mopped the kitchen floor and speed mopped the lounge floor.

In the Glasgow area and probably most urban areas shirt collars were filthy within minutes of going outdoors until we got smoke free zones. Certainly in the 1950’s and 60’s this was the case.

Anyway I'm not watching it as I'm racing instead at Manchester velodrome. Or rather I'm hanging onto the fast riders for as long as possible then watching them disappear off.
