Well the person selling some Scalextric cars contacted me yesterday. A bit pointless really. One of the 2 cars had been sold and the message was late in the morning . He was going out at 12 and I had to go out at 3. I sent a message when I got back after 5 but haven't heard a thing !
I think I would get more sense out of a Ouija board!
It's a good job that I bought an Eagle Westlake body and rear axle on the bay. The other bits I can either source or make later. I also found some scale plans for the car.

Overcast and forecast heavy rain all day with heavy snow showers to look forward to tomorrow when I hope to be travelling.

This is so odd it could be true.
Calmac may have sent out a text saying that for operational reasons on 16thMarch the 1540 sailing will depart at 1540.
If the local office is open today I will check this as a bit suspicious because they usually give their phone number but this one is headed CalMac instead.

I try not to accumulate clutter but I seem to be a magnet for books. Bikes seem to keep accumulating too.

I also have that problem with the same things but now add trikes to the mix. I have stopped buying books but mainly because the charity shop is not very easy for me to get to now.

About 3 years ago a white plastic bag got caught up in the tree branches outside my window. The wind has finally managed to shred it in two. The torn-off shred got snagged up about 2 feet further upwind. Updates may follow.

A lady in the transport office was complaining last night that the cheapo recycling A4 papar keeps jamming in the printer and she had to dump lots of concertinered paper...

I told her 'Look on the bright side.. Your recycling rates have gone up!'

Good morning all. No rain, but it's blowing a hoolie here as well. The first cuppa of the day has been sunk, the washing machine sounds like it's getting close to finishing the load I put on earlier and the bin hasn't been emptied as I didn't put it out last night.

About the only plans for today are a trip to the local supermarket to get food for work and to tip a backpack of empty bottles and jars into their bottle bank. This may be followed by lunch out.

No, Illinois. I would have thought it too cold, but having lived near the well-named Snake Den Hollow and The Little Grand Canyon in Southern Illinois, I can make statements about the resiliency of snakes. Even in cool or cold weather.
