My sore throat is a bit better but nose still gunged up.

I collected the Czech patient from the garage this evening, so I now with replacement cat, an overhauled throttle body and a thinner wallet.

Must book yet another test and hopefully it will pass this time and then I can sell it.

Council tax gone up 9 a month

My bill arrived this morning - an additional £7 per month or 4.5% which, given the way other bills & prices are going up at the moment, isn't too bad.

Mind you, less than 12 months ago there's no way you'd have called 4.5% 'not too bad'

I've just received a similar bill for 2023/24. Unfortunately it's not for where I live now but for the house we moved out of in January. Still, I can't expect the council to get it right, can I 😒

re: musicals, Wifey is treating us to The Drop Kick Murphys at the MGM Music Hall, Fenway Park which isn't in the actual baseball park, it's right nearby in an old night club / roller skating rink. should be interesting to see what they did with the place

Decided against the girly pamper session, and did all the prep for supper instead. Also topped up all the wood bins in the house.

Then cleaned all the old wrist cheese off the two watches I bought.

Bunn was actually involved in the Illinois Watch Company as well, but they are in Quincy now. Not a terribly far drive for me, by prairie standards. West side of the state, but Illinois is about the size of England proper.
