Thanks to the thoroughly wet & miserable weather, I had a most productive day. As per the 'What have you fettled today' thread I stripped my Spa Elan down and rebuilt it into 1x gearing style with new SRAM parts instead of Shimano and added a new pair of wheels. After over 10,000 miles it deserved a treat ^_^

Non-recycling bin is out ready for emptying on Monday morning. Everything fitted into a couple of small plastic bags I'd had stuff delivered in so hardly worth bothering with, but it's not been done since the end of February.

Old feller on the stool next to me in the pub collapsed, head butted his Guinness and swallowed his tongue. That was more than the usual early evening pub entertainment. But if something similar ever happens to me, I hope it happens to me in the Dog and Bell. Staff were brilliant looking after him while the ambulance arrived.

The Ti Spa Elan is a very tidy bike. Mine is similar but with a rack, light tourer style.

Never been called a Sunbeam before.

I won't say it, I won't say it... Oh sod it, it's too good to NOT say it...

You're our little ray of sunshine ;)
