My malted milk biscuit fell into my tea while dunking. I forgot to support the structural integrity of the biscuit with my ring finger and it went plop into my tea.

Forgot to mention we placed a hog house and filled it up with paper shreddings and I have noticed over the last couple of days the entrance looked like the shreddings had been moved well this morning there is no shreddings in sight so I will need to place our wildlife camera pointing at the entrance

It is dry here this morning. The sky is sort of grey with some blue bits in places .
Something is emptying the bowls of cat food in both of our Hedgehog houses . My wife was wondering if our cat could be doing it as he has put on weight.

Toasted bagel thins, with honey, for breakfast.

Not a cloud in the sky but minus 1.6C when I got up.
The menace of electronics disturbed my breakfast.
An alarm started to give 4 or 5 loud beeps and then silence for about 30 seconds and repeat.
Isolated it to the living room but nothing obvious. There is no smoke so started with the CO alarm. Not that.
Check every electronic thing but cannot get up high enough to take down fire alarm but does not sound like it.
After checking everything else I home in on the indoor/outdoor temperature device as the only thing left.
That is the source but why as as it has not been touched for a couple of weeks when I put in new batteries?
It was so loud and my hearing is a bit compromised so it was difficult to tell where the sound was coming from. It seemed to fill the whole room.
This does illustrate a problem with us ancients. I could not get up high enough on a ladder to reach the ceiling mounted fire alarm and any neighbours I could have called on for assistance have gone off to work. Not a real emergency but certainly an inconvenience and nobody to give assistance in this kind of incident.
