Well that's your ravelled sleeve sorted then

Needs to know how to knit it up, tho...

Charts are pretty handy, seadog

the wind that day was prohibitive but they let us out before they decided it wasn't safe, plus I didn't know enough to drop anchor out in the water, instead of the beach. plus, once I could see we were getting grounded by 2 simultaneous things, outgoing tide AND high wind pushing us onto the beach, me & the kids tore our feet in sandals & flip flops trying to push against the wind, in vain (not vane). had to wait for the tide to come back, but the wind never died, so it was still a hard push but we did get off the beach. got back & boat rental office said they canceled all other rentals right after we left

Good morning. I've got a doctors appointment this morning to make sure I still have Asthma, something like that anyway.

Currently debating the wisdom of going to work first.

If you've been formally diagnosed the short answer is you still have.
It’s a bit of an urban myth it go's away for example as can happen with childhood Asthma.
What really happens is it becomes inactive but can come back at any time often decades later.

Good morning all. Much quieter at work this morning, but the day started badly when the chain broke on my ebike as I was leaving for work. I was already running a few minutes late and the quick change of bike & shoes made me even later, but I still made it in on time. First cuppa done and I'm hoping to knock off a couple of hours early as I'm owed the time from last week & yesterday.

Grey and misty out, but not raining - yet!

Still wet and windy but not quite as bad as yesterday when it never let up all day. The forecast suggests there may be a blink of sunshine in about a couple of weeks time but only for one day.
Not many advantages in getting ancient and a bit infirm but a Blue Badge even if it does cost £25 for a small number of years is useful.
The fury over parking charges starting in a local park continues but Blue Badge holders are exempt from charges. How they find this out when using a smartphone which not everyone has even if there is a signal is a mystery.
We used to walk there regularly when it was not much used but I have not been there for a long time. Now that I can raise two fingers at them I must make the effort to go for a visit but by car now tho' in good weather I could take the trike down but apparently I could vanish in some of the potholes.
