A typical Bank Holiday here chez Casa Reynard. Wet early doors, sunny but very blustery later.
Slept really well after spending yesterday immersed in research and writing up my findings. Had a lazy morning, and then, after a quick egg mayonnaise sandwich and

I then tootled off to Tesco for the traditional yellow sticker rummage.
Bakery and green bins were a bust, the chilled stuff - well there was a lot, mainly BBQ meats and expensive ready meals, but nothing overly much of interest to me, and in any case, the reductions were only 30% on most things, so really no point. I did pick out a tray of sausages and a pack with two chocolate and caramel pastries, but that was it. Did much better in the fruit & veg where everything was reduced by 75%, and came home with a job lot of "finest" cherry tomatoes, three punnets of strawberries, two punnets of mushrooms, two packs of celery sticks, two tubs of coleslaw and some parsnips and carrots that were still on their 19p offer.
Planning on a quiet evening and an early night.
Wearing my Seiko Salvia tank today. It's a stylish thing and got some admiring glances while I was out earlier. It does need a service though (tbf I knew that when I bought it), as when it's fully wound, it has a tendency to stop and the second hand gets a bit skippy. That's basically the mainspring that's gummed up with old lubricants. If I only wind it about 2/3, it chunters away like a champ.
Anyways, time to feed the cats, and then it will be time to feed me.
