The swedish potato flour / starch arrived - gluten free logo on the packaging so no awkward translation of the packaging words needed.

Bread making okay for a good few months now assuming there will not be a lack of cornflour or yeast.

Actually the recipe, sourced from a BBC Good Food magazine, also calls for two tablespoons of Soya Flour which I have never found locally and the relative limited quantity needed makes buying it online seem highly expensive given the postage costs so have always skipped it without any apparent harm to the bread.

A belated good morning from South Bank at Brands Hatch. The sun has broken through the clouds after a gloomy drive down but it's still quite chilly.

My BT TV box froze/broke last night so on to BT first thing this morning and to their credit a replacement box should be with me for Tuesday. Let's hope the weather is lousy on Sunday so I have to stay in and watch the BTCC as I have no way of recording it and catching up in the evening.

Hello people of Mundane News.

What's going on?

I've just booked my travel for the rest of the year. France, 27/07 to 13/08 and Japan, 23/12 to 31/12. Going to take in Strasbourg, Paris and Toulouse. I'll be seeing friends in Toulouse for the first time since 2018, and they've had babies since then.

Finished work and I'm back in my apartment. Now I'm going to change the tape on my touring bike handlebars.

So basically the only difference between now and the last few hours is that I was being paid before.

We now have another house for sale in this street, which makes three. One is SSTC (sold subject to contract). I did not think the noise from my drumming practice could reach that far!

A large house not far away has been on the market for some time. Every time it gets to SSTC the buyer drops out. Would love to know why.
