Cake or ice cream? The choice is endless ...

I think our lot have a booking session in the earlier part of the day but after that it's simply turn up with proof that you're local.

No booking here in Poshshire... The signs say only locals and proof required etc, but I've not known it as being enforced.
Maybe only if they suspect you of being an itinerant dumper or summat.

I've just realised that I've been Veggie for the last 3 or 4 days.

I might have to fry up a couple of sausages later...

No booking for the dump here and you only get challenged if driving a commercial vehicle as you are then charged.
My wildlife pal has had disagreements with them when dumping his domestic stuff using his pickup truck. We did take my old freezer up using his pickup and there was no problem.
A sensible post on FB. " Nearly everybody posting on facebook is an expert on something they know nothing about".

Strange bright thing in the sky for half a hour, clouds some looking problematic have returned after a drenching overnight. Flooded path encountered on a walk to the Co-op as there has for the first time been no tweeted reply regarding the failure to honour the app voucher. So another bag of cereal bought and a manual deduction made by the till operator.

More wheels than sense
A right soggy day here chez Casa Reynard.

Anyways, watched the Coronation and then the Formula E from Monaco. Madam Lexi was peeved that I wouldn't let her out, but I flead the girls last night, and getting wet would wash out most of the spot-on. So in the end she got the message, and we spent much of the day in front of the telly.

Didn't actually feel that good early doors thanks to lady issues. So it was full on paracetamol, hot water bottle and a bar of medicinal chocolate.

Did feel better in the evening, so tootled off to Tesco for final reductions. A mixed bag tonight - stewing beef, beef mince, venison burgers, sausages, some breaded haddock, cooked chicken, two "pizza express" garlic & mozzarella flatbreads, a job lot of new potatoes, some button mushrooms, green beans, a box of tea, six packets of shortbread fingers (discontinued, new packs have two biscuits less in them for the same price), a dented can of baked beans, a wholemeal bread and ten pastries from the bakery.

Now sat back watching MOTD.

The Monaco FE racing was the first one I'd seen for a while and really enjoyed the racing , the gimmicks less so .

3 kids bikes checked over in readiness for a 15 mile ride next weekend.

Blue skies with white fluffy clouds now.

Dry walking the dog this morning. Everything seems to have shot up the last few days.
