Another nice sunny day and less cold.
Went up to refresh the flowers on my wife’s grave as a holiday is the only time to easily get access.
There are massive earthworks going on and lots of heavy machinery and trucks involved in extending the cemetery and apparently also a park and ride car park.
More room for more motorhomes to camp overnight probably and I doubt if any of the touroid will use a park and ride unless forced to do so.
Otherwise a non productive day with nothing useful achieved.
My back is feeling a lot better thank goodness but do not want to chance lifting the trike yet and will give it a few more days rest.

Yes, but it's nice & simple and, so long as there's space, it can be done up to an hour beforehand. It's done in 1/4 hour segments so if you turn up a bit early or late you don't get turned away. In non-recycling rubbish news, the wheelie bin has been put out front ready for emptying tomorrow.

What a change Silverstone was today from the rest of the year so far - the first time I've been able to watch some racing on properly warm & dry conditions. A good 3 hour GT race with 40+ cars at the start making a wonderfull noise and a decent sized crowd to boot.
It meant I missed the annual classic & hoistoric vehicle run from Ipswich to Felixstowe where they all park up and display along the prom on the seafront. Not being on FaceGram Tok I didn't realise it was today and only found out when I saw the parking restriction signs in the area.

But it's only a small light! Anyway, I'll only end up bumping into furniture if I switch it off.
35ish miles done on the Brompton with a little bit of hillwalking fitted into the middle of it. Visited my Aunt and Uncle who haven't been well recently as well while out. I decided to treat myself to battered sausages and chips this evening. Very nice it was too. Now relaxing and enjoying the last of the weekend as it's back in gaol tomorrow for another day's hard labour!
