Bin's have bin emptied.

Started off a lovely warm sunny day here chez Casa Reynard, but now it's pishing it down.

Inevitably, the morning was spent on chauffeur duties at the parental's behest. The afternoon was spent in the kitchen doing stuff, and now that I've got some free time, I definitely can't get a bicycular bimble in. Bah, humbug.

At least I had a lovely lunch of a chunk of melton mowbray pork pie, then a sandwich with lox* and a schmear, plus an apple and some raspberries and two :cuppa:

The soup I've made does smell good, tho - curried parsnip & potato.

* homemade gravlax using an adaptation of a Hairy Bikers recipe. Beats the socks off anything that's bought.

Looks like the Hebridean Princess returned after overnighting at anchor a couple of miles away.
Cannot see her from my windows but probably alongside at Macbrayne pier.
Lots of lost looking peds wandering past and all look a bit lost while gazing at phones. Well dressed and the men are wearing hats rather than caps with longish grey hair. They all look very similar being tall and slim. Probably off the cruise ship and getting a bit of shore leave. This is not a cheap cruise ship.
Spent most of the day looking at old photos on various devices but I will not bore you with more just now.
I do have a couple of steam lorries and some other steam stuff taken in Lerwick a few years ago but more suited to a different thread.
