Nice sunny day but a brisk wind.
In my sheltered corner I had to take my jersey off while sat in the sun.
Pharmacy sorted but it seems they have continual problems getting all sorts of meds. They ran out of paracetamol for example as their wholesaler had none to send and when it did arrive it had increased massively in price.
Noticed recently a dive boat sending people down to the Diorlinn for diving. Supremely uninteresting spot and very silty.
I once took some visiting divers as a favour to the north end of Calve Island because the main boat had broken down. Since it was not very far away they told me after that they thought they were being conned. I dropped them in 10 meters and gave specific instructions which direction to take underwater.
They came back very impressed and said it was the best dive they had done. We had one guy who lived in Australia and he said it was better than the Great Barrier Reef.^_^
I remember getting massive catches of scallops there until a commercial diver cottoned on to this and cleared the lot.

Had crab mayonnaise on toast for luncheon, along with an orange, the last of the pineapple and two :cuppa:

Sorted the laundry, watered all the planters and then turned my attention to the mower. Yesterday's recalcitrant bolt took me all of 5 minutes to solve - although I did move the mower onto the drive where I had both more light and more space. Took it for a brief test run, and then re-torqued all the bolts.

It's still engaging the blades without the cutting deck taking power off the engine, so something else isn't quite right. And I think that's the throttle, because it seems to be running on full regardless of where the toggle control is. So I need to find the manual for the engine and have a go at sorting that out. OK, I can run it as is, but I'll be using more fuel than is necessary.

That's a problem for another day, though.

Work toady was interesting having set every thing up and ready to go all we needed was the 200+ physics papers.
What we got was one 10 pack of one paper and one 5 pack of another. The appears had not arrived/ got lost or been last between the exam board and the school.

So queue mass panic of us all fetching papers from admin , Having to check each one , making sure copies got sorted for the extra rooms and all the different colour papers got done. That's 200 + papers 36 pagers each, two different papers , each with two tiers and two different formula sheets.

Head of centre having a go that they are ready to bring the students in. Not reacting well to be told no you're not no one is coming in till we are ready and every things checked. He suppose to know the rules but had to tell him straight out he was so close to getting a Scarborough warning. Twice he tried it on , twice told no.

In the end our hard work paid off and only 30 mins late with not a single wrong paper or formula sheet. Good job as our manger and rest of senior management did nothing to help.
What do we get for our trouble one line near the bottom of the daily staff email.
No wonder i'm tired i've fell asleep once and still feel bushed.
