Just realised I had a pair of jeans on first thing, wallet in the pocket. Panic over bar a now dead debit and credit card in it.

@oldwheels MrsPete, just before she became MrsPete, and I caught the Waverley from Margate to Southend 35 years ago to watch the airshow. Lovely old boat!

She used to be on the Clyde sailing mainly from Craigendoran near Helensburgh as did the Jeannie Deans, the Talisman and the Lucy Ashton. There was one other but I cannot remember the name.
As kids we used to hang about the pier and were allowed to throw the lines. We were taught how to do this properly and never missed. That would never be allowed nowadays. Happy days.
All named after the Waverley novels by Walter Scott.

My Carradice Super C panniers were one of my best cycling purchases about ten years ago and have seen quite a few adventures as well as shopping trips and other utility duty. Still perfect and they've never taken in water but I was thinking today that they have really faded over the years. They probably should be treated with something to make them black again and probably held keep them water proof.

It's a good idea to check how to spell cologne before you start typing.

Didn't do badly in Tesco tonight.

Came home with a pack of two free range chicken breasts, a tray of diced lamb, some smoked salmon flakes, a little tray of cooked chicken, two tubs of Burrata cheese, a tub of pea soup, a job lot of onions, a job lot of asparagus, curly kale, fennel, oyster mushrooms, apples, grapes, pita breads, three packs of hot dog rolls and four pastries from the ISB, plus, from the green "damaged goods" bin a can of peas, a can of spaghetti hoops, five cans of baked beans, a packet of crackers, five assorted boxes of breakfast cereal, two packs of doggy dental chews and a large box of bonios.

My friend's doggos are going to be VERY happy.
