Not bothered putting the blue wheelie bin or black bag out this evening. There's not enough in either to warrant it.

Back home and mostly unpacked.
No results from radiology but she will send a report to my GP who I will see tomorrow.
Fairly easy trip and the new on line ticket system for the ferry worked for me anyway. I just put it on my phone and it read ok.
Oban was chaos and near gridlock with touroid everywhere. Roads choked and the pavements did not look any better as well as people trying to cross the street mixing it with the traffic even when it managed to move more than a couple of feet.
What pleasure is there in being there for them?
Bus party on the small ferry a bit comical but they stand in front of the large windows and hide any view for those inside.
One family [ not bus party ] had a large area to themselves as they had 4 small squalling children and nobody wanted to be near them.
Bright sunny day and this is forecast to stay for at least the next week even tho' the wind is northerly and a bit chilly when the sun goes down.
My storage heaters are now turned off in the hope that the sun should warm the house up during the day.
Fast run up the road as there was a change of crew on the ferry and I got off earlier than usual and got behind a local taxi who was taking no prisoners on the single track.

Well it had to happen eventually, my 11 1/2 year old Ford Fiestas battery has finally died, on the driveway. So much for some frozen food shopping this evening. It's giving me concern when I look at it as the mirrors fold inwards when it's locked; it is locked but the mirrors haven't moved. Green Flag visiting tomorrow.

not the original battery is it?
